The 9000 model is a great option to replace or upgrade the saddle on your acoustic guitar.

It has a radius on the top so most of the work has already been done.

This is a great option to custom shape and adds compensation.

The PS-9000-00 is also available in a convenient luthier 10-pack (LT-9000-10).

The PQ-9000-00 is also available in a convenient luthier 10-pack (LQ-9000-10).

What are the String Saver and TUSQ Materials in Saddles?

String Saver Saddles

String Saver saddles are made with a unique combination of materials made to enhance tone and dramatically reduce string breakage. Each saddle is permanently lubricated.

Lubrication formula in String Savers eases the grip between the saddle and string, spreading the stress over a greater portion of the string, just enough to drastically reduce string breakage.

Our patented String Saver Originals are made entirely of our String Saver material and give you a very balanced tone across the spectrum. People who were breaking one or two strings a night have contacted us after using String Savers and are amazed that they go weeks and months without breaking a string!

String Saver Classics are made with an extremely high quality steel saddle with our patented String Saver material inserted in the string ramp. String Saver Classics preserve the classic look of a metal saddles while freeing you from the problem of breaking strings.

TUSQ Saddles

TUSQ Saddles have a rich tone without the inconsistency found in ivory, bone, and other natural materials. Bone and ivory have hard and soft spots (grain) throughout each piece, hampering the consistent transfer of vibrations to the guitar top. TUSQ saddles are designed to transfer the right frequencies more efficiently from the string to the guitar body.

    Excellent product

With a little bit of sanding and polishing, it fit perfectly. Our shop uses Graphtech nuts and saddles exclusively.

    Easy to work with

I didn't expect it, but I found it easy to shape and file the saddle to fit the saddle slot in my acoustic guitar. Like the tone too. Recommended for anyone who want to upgrade their guitars.

    Takamine conversion

Im a semi retired professional that does an acoustic show. I'm a lefty and recently found a 1975 lawsuit Takamine 12 string in like new condition.Made to Martin specs in a Martin tooled factory. I used this blank in two pieces like a pro series Tak, compensating E B strings. Also used your 1500 Tusc nut. Ebony pins n LR baggs system and it's a beast of tone and sustain!! Great products all around. Two other 6 strings I have Tusc comp saddles. Thanks

    Raised saddle

After adding medium flat nylon wound strings, I needed to raise the action to control problematic

buzzing. Now my A-4 Godin fretless is well, again. The same problem existed on the nut; therefore

raised it to overcome the problem with TUSQ replacement.
