This plastic battery box is a useful option for guitars with the electronics under the pick guard, to make battery changes quickly and easily without tools. Installing a battery box requires routing a cavity 2.87" (73mm) x 1.33" (34mm) but only 0.80" (20mm) deep, because it holds the battery flat, rather than vertically. A battery box leaves more room in your control cavity for the ghost modules and controls, and for any other on-board devices you may want to install.
This battery box comes with a harness to plug directly into the ghost system. Standard wire length is 9". The short, red wire is the Auxiliary Power Out, to provide power to active pickups or another on-board device.
